UCLA sophomore Offensive Tackle Torian White has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault according to the LA Times. He was arrested at 3 a.m. at an apartment complex near UCLA. The school put out a press release that reads:
“We are aware of the situation involving Torian White, and we take these accusations very seriously, UCLA Coach Jim Mora said in statement. Torian has been suspended from the team indefinitely while the legal process and student discipline process run their course. Due to the ongoing police investigation, we are unable to discuss this matter further at this time.”
Torian actually hasn’t played since Oct 3rd when he broke a bone and tore a ligament in his right leg. While he is suspended from the team indefinitely, we should wait until all the facts come out just like any other case.
