The number one rule change I want in college football has been proposed. The NCAA rules committee has proposed that the 15 yard penalty can be picked up if the targeting ejection is overturned:
The committee recommended that if the instant replay official rules that a disqualification should not have occurred, and if the targeting foul is not accompanied by another personal foul, the 15-yard penalty for targeting should not be enforced.
There is no reason this rule change shouldn’t happen. Finally some sanity enters college football rules.
