Lebron has no reason to be disappointed in his performance last night he was stellar… and this is coming from a Kobe fan.
Lebron had nearly half of the Heats 102-96 points in their victory against the Nets but that didn’t suffice the King. Late in the fourth quarter, Lebron missed a free throw with 1.1 seconds left that would have put him at 50 and when he missed it, he was very disappointed in himself.
“That’s the first time I’ve been disappointed in myself in a win,” he said.
Other than a missed free throw, Lebron gave the NBA and its fans a show last night with his performance. The 4 time MVP made 16 of 24 of his shots, at the free throw line he was 14 of 19… if thats not King status I don’t know what is. The Heat lead the Nets 3-1 in their series and with them taking their talents back to Miami, it looks like the Heat can count on going back to the Eastern Finals.
Pierce even acknowledged “Never underestimate the heart of a champion.” Hopefully he won’t ask to guard Lebron again.
