The debate of who would be considered the greatest NBA player of all time usually comes down to one person: Michael Jordan. However, there are some people that disagree with this, and former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal happens to be one of them.
Shaq was interviewed by The Antenna’s Abe Schwadron and was asked his opinion on who is the greatest of all time. Not only did Shaq not say Michael Jordan, but he passed on Kobe and LeBron as well.
“It’s a matter of opinion,” O’Neal said, via Schwadron. “To me, Dr. J was the greatest player ever. But I ask other people, they say Jordan, some say Kobe, some people say LeBron. It’s always going to be a matter of opinion.”
To each his own.
