It was reported a few weeks ago that Rajon Rondo asked for a trade, but of course, Rondo and his agent denied the rumor. Whether if the report is true or not, one things for sure and that’s the obvious tension between 4-time all-star and the Celtics front office.
The feud is only going to get worse after Wyc Grousbeck’s comments.
“He’s super stubborn,” revealed Grousbeck, adding Rondo is a good, generous kid who loves being in Boston. “I don’t know how coachable he really is.
“I know if you ask [former, long-time head coach] Doc [Rivers], ‘Was he the most coachable guy, or in the top half, 50 percent,’ he’d say, ‘No, he’s in the bottom 50 percent of being coachable.’ It’s hard with him,” Grousbeck continued.
I wonder how Rondo feels about these remarks.
