The first scrimmage the Cowboys had during training camp Claiborne was just all over the place. He was starting fights, getting hurt and then couldn’t finished practice because he expended so much energy he got fatigued. It was just a bad start and frankly it just never got better for him this year.
Embattled cornerback Morris Claiborne exited Sunday’s 38-17 win with a knee injury and didn’t return. Following the game, Jerry Jones told ESPN Dallas that the initial diagnosis for the nickelback is a torn ACL, but he’ll undego more tests to confirm.
Dallas coach Jason Garrett was less revealing, only saying that the injury “looks serious,” but the team will know more Monday.
