Off a bye week the Eagles are getting much needed help at key positions. Running back Darren Sproles has returned to practice after suffering a sprained medial collateral ligament against the New York Giants on October 12.
Linebacker Mychal Kendricks returned to practice after suffering a calf injury in week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Center Jason Kelce and third-string running back Chris Polk also practiced. All-Pro guard Evan Mathis is expected to practice Wednesday. Mathis sprained a knee ligament in Week 1. He isn’t eligible to play until Nov. 10 after being placed on injured reserve with designation to return.
The Eagles fell into second place during the bye after Dallas improved to 6-1. They have a tough matchup against the NFC West-leading Cardinals in a matchup of 5-1 teams.
