Though the final score was 21-35, it isn’t quite indicative of how badly the Broncos beat the Charges at Mile High Stadium on Thursday night. Do you think that even remotely matters to Broncos QB Peyton Manning? Not really.
During his post-game press conference, Manning had a few choice words for his displeasure with the Broncos scoreboard operator for his handling on his job toward the end of the game.
Peyton going off on the “scoreboard operator” for playing loud music, showing players dancing, showing Rivers. “It wasn’t his best night.”

Peyton said showing Rivers on screen “disrespectful” + didn’t like shots of Den players dancing while he wanted crowd quiet. Dead serious.

This is the new one. Manning’s beef stems from the fact that the scoreboard operator was “playing loud music and showing [Broncos] players dancing” while the Broncos offense was on the field. Granted they were on the field with less than two minutes left in the game, and the Broncos were winning 21-35, but according to Manning, the scoreboard operator’s mishandling of his job cause the fans to get too hyped and loud, which in turn caused the Broncos offense to false start.
But you still won Peyton! Alas, Peyton didn’t become Peyton by letting the little things slide.
