CP3 Says Some Home Games Feel Like Road Games to Clippers

It’s no secret that Los Angeles has long been a Lakers town, with the Clippers usually looked at as the disappointing younger brother. While the Lakers have been successful for decades and the Clippers have been a laughing stock, the teams roles have recently reversed.

Despite the fact that the Clippers have a loaded roster and are one of the favorites to come out of the West, the city still hasn’t fully embraced Chris Paul and Co. Don’t think for a second the team hasn’t noticed. Following last night’s loss to the Chicago Bulls, Paul said the game felt like it was in the Windy City according to ESPN’s Arash Markazi.

Yikes.

Despite their recent success and new ownership, fans haven’t taken to the Clippers for whatever reason. If things continue to stay this way, it’s only a matter of time until the ‘Ballmer takes the Clips to Seattle’ chatter starts making the rounds. After all, the Clippers new owner is a native to the Sonics for home town.

Then again, winning cures all. If the Clippers are able to overcome this lethargic 5-4 start that includes close calls against the sorry Lakers and Durant/Westbrook-less Thunder and play up to their potential, support from the fans will likely skyrocket.
