Is the reign of RG3 over in Washington, the way its looking, he’s no longer their golden child.
Ian Rapport reported in a series of tweets that Washington front office is supporting the decisions and comments from Jay Gruden. So much so, that the option of benching RG3 will not be questioned by them.
#Redskins sources say coach Jay Gruden received support from upper management after his RGIII comments. So different from the past.

The landscape has changed for RGIII. No more special rules for him, including his family essentially having all-access to the facility.

#Redskins coach Jay Gruden does have license to bench RGIII if his play isn’t good enough. I’m told it’s “not out of the question.”

#Redskins studied 2012 film of RGIII that saw him thrive. They have internal doubts he can be the same physically. Injuries took a toll.

Is this it for RG3 in Washington? Ian Rapport also revealed that today will be an easy day for RG3 consisting of only quick throws and easy reads. RG3 had the Washington front office in the palm of his head, one has to wonder with the public stating that he seemed like more of their star than the star of the locker room, lead to them stripping away his privileges. Will this make RG3 return to his 2012 shape and show Washington he is their franchise QB or are we seeing his last days?
