Derrick Rose came out in support of the “I Can’t Breathe” movement after there was no indictment in the death of Eric Garner who died while in an illegal chokehold.
Smith for some odd reason thought it was a good time to tell a joke. Nothing funny about that, a man lost his life. If the proper procedures would have been used Eric Garner would still be alive. Sam Smith is a respected writer and has been in the game longer than most of us have been alive, he should have known better.
