The Rock has been killing it in Hollywood becoming one of the top action stars in the movies and he’s got another big movie coming up next summer, San Andreas. The movie is a big budget disaster flick about the San Andreas Fault. A lot of building collapses and explosions await you. Here’s the film synopsis:

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter. But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.

These disaster movies can be hit or miss sometimes. I don’t know what to really make of it since every trailer usually makes movies look epic. Trailer looked very dramatic and the song choice well done. I think it’s gonna be a good movie, but whether fans connect and come out to watch it depends on more than just the movie being good. The Rock is a good bet to bump up your ticket sales so hopefully it’s a fun movie. San Andreas comes out May 29, 2015.
