Dad of the year might be in the future for this Iowa man who was getting chased by police and still managed to drop his daughter off at school in the process.
According to kcrg.com, a police officer spotted the driver with an equipment violation and proceeded to initiate a normal traffic stop. The driver, Ernest Toby Gaston, had his teenage daughter in the vehicle when the police pursuit began. With the officer in pursuit, he stopped to Jefferson High School to let his daughter out the car before continuing on the chase. The chase continued on for miles until he rear ended an SUV. Gatson is being charged with child endangerment, attempting to elude, and other traffic violations.
