You could find almost any clip you needed from NFL games on YouTube anyway, so I get the feeling the league finally smartened up, and agreed to a deal.
The deal announced today will allow fans to access NFL video content on personal computers, tablets and mobile phones.
The deal includes a newly launched official NFL channel on YouTube, including game previews, in-game highlights and postgame recaps, as well as analysis and fantasy football advice.
Game highlights also will be available through Google Search.
It is the latest in a series of partnerships the NFL has created with digital platforms to increase access to the league’s content.
