Dez Bryant wants a long term contract with massive guarantees and the Cowboys are hesitant to give it to him. It is looking more likely they will apply the Franchise Tag to him until they can figure it all out.
That is pretty much the crux of the issue, performance wise he has earned it, so it makes you wonder if the Cowboys know something that we don’t?
Whatever the case Dez went to Twitter to voice his frustrations.
Random but I found this tweet funny.
@DezBryant please don’t leave or me and my jersey are going with you.

Dez is right, there is no loyalty in the NFL, strictly business, so get what you can while you can. I do believe the Cowboys have been patient with Dez Bryant letting him grow into his role as a leader, so I wouldn’t say they don’t care about him at all. It is just about finding a middle ground they are both happy with.
