They say records are meant to be broken and LeBron James found that out first hand thanks to Luke Kennard.
Though he hasn’t garnered LBJ type of hype, Kennard is no slouch. He’s a 5 star basketball player that has committed to play at Duke next season. His 44 points in yesterday’s game puts him 6 ahead of James’ 2,646 points, which is 4th all-time.
LeBron had this to say about Kennard’s achievement:
“That’s great,” James said. “I’m happy for him.”
He made sure he added, “He’s not coming up on my assists record or my wins in state championships.”
The King has spoken.
