The Seattle Seahawks best unit will need to spend plenty of time in the infirmary for the offseason. All of the members of the “Legion of Boom” have some form of a serious injury and will probably need surgery this offseason. Starting with the vocal leader Richard Sherman, who will need Tommy John Surgery as confirmed by the Sehawks organization.
Carroll confirms that Richard Sherman’s left elbow will require Tommy John surgery and Jeremy Lane has a “significant” broken arm.

The other starting CB, Jeremy Lane who missed the majority of the Super Bowl Action with a broken arm, will also need offseason surgery. Safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor were also banged up with injuries in the post season and could be facing surgery as well. Combine that with the fact that defensive coordinator Dan Quinn will be leaving to become the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, the Seattle defense could be in for a long bumpy road this offseason.
