Someone is lying about their end of the story — with all fingers pointed at the NCAA.
Earlier we reported on the plight of Silas Nacita — the Baylor running back who was homeless and forced to accept the help of friends just to survive.
It was initially reported that the NCAA ruled Nacita ineligible because the help represented an extra benefit.
After some outrage and backlash from everyone on social media and sports news — NCAA brass backpedaled on their findings — blaming the mixup on Baylor.
The NCAA did not declare Silas Nacita ineligible and Baylor has not requested a waiver for him.

Dan Wolken believes there is info missing, and the story as told by Nacita would not be a violation.
There is too much information missing from the Nacita story at this point to form a hard opinion, but that won’t stop most folks.
