The biggest game of Darrelle Revis’ life is quickly approaching, and the Jets and Bills couldn’t be more anxious for it to be over with already according to Bleacher Report.
With Revis being due $20 million next year, most teams around the league including the Jets and Bills are hoping that his tenure in New England will be a thing of the past come the 2015 season.
New England and Revis are yet to begin negotiations to reduce next years cap number per Mike Florio, which doesn’t seem all that out of the ordinary considering the Patriots are one of two teams still competing for a title in tonight’s Super Bowl, but Ian Rapoport reports that may not be out of the question.

Revis discussed his upcoming contract situation with Phil Perry of CSNNE.com and stated:
“Just experience, growing as a professional athlete and not really focusing on off-the-field situations or my off-the-field situations. I feel like I’ve got a great team behind me, and they do a great job of where I need to be or where I want to go.
I mean do I want any of the attention? No. But at the same time, this is how my career has been panning out. I’ve just got to make the best of it. […]
Yes, it’s very risky to take that chance, but I believe in myself. I have faith in myself, in what I bring to the table, in how I prepare and just me overall as a person. This is what I love. This is what I do. If I don’t believe in myself, who will?”
It is unclear what the future hold for one of the games top corners, but rest assured he will definitely be coveted following tonight’s Super Bowl.
If things don’t work out in New England reunions in New York, be it with the team he made his stamp in the league with the Jets, or with the Bills who just landed the coach of the franchise he made his mark with.
This looks to be an exciting off-season for one Darrelle Revis.
