The Atlanta Falcons organization is bracing for the expected stiff penalties that might be levied upon them regarding “Artificial Noise-Gate.” The possibility of the Falcons losing a high 2015 draft pick is on the table after the NFL owners all met at the annual owner’s meetings last week. Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff went on a local Atlanta Radio station 680 the fan, to discuss the ramifications from the Falcons pumping artificial noise through out the Georgia Dome speakers. Falcons Owner Arthur Blank has already admitted to the Associated Press that the Falcons were guilty of using the artificial noise during opposing team huddles, so whatever punishment the league decides to hand down will be completely justified.
We are just so full of scenarios and that’s kind of how we approach the off-season as it is,” Dimitroff said on 680 The Fan Friday morning. “We’ve been very detailed on how we are going to approach things if in fact we have availability at certain points in the draft.”
