When most people think of Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins — his defensive prowess is normally not the topic of old playoff stories.
Most involve highlight reel dunks or playoff duels with Larry Bird.
That’s exactly how the Celtics legend remembered Wilkins as the Hawks were unveiling his new statue to sit outside Phillips Arena.
As the Hawks unveiled a statue in Wilkins’ honor, Bird, via The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Chris Vivlamore, poked some fun at the Hall of Famer’s defense:
