According to SI, it looks like Swaggy P will be forced to miss more time due to issues with his knee.
Los Angeles Lakers forward Nick Young will have a CT scan on his injured left knee on Monday and won’t travel with the team for that night’s game against the Golden State Warriors, the team announced on Sunday.
Young originally planned to travel with the Lakers before the CT scan was announced.
In 42 games this season, Young has averaged 13.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 23.8 minutes.
After missing the previous 10 games this recent swelling had to come as a blow. Through eight seasons in his NBA career, this one has been his least productive since his rookie year. If anything, though, at least he can take solace in the fact that the Lakers aren’t doing anything this year anyway.
There’s no point in rushing back if there is swelling, and this will just lead to an even worse record for LA, hopefully leaving them with the highest chance at first pick in the draft.
When you’re going through an agonizing season like the Lakers are right now, its tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes. The NBA rewards patience. They’ll have another high draft pick paired with a healthy Julius Randle and an even hungrier Kobe Bryant…
Just get through this season, Laker fans.
