Bethe Correia should be worrying about how she is going to stop Ronda Rousey’s reign as UFC women’s bantamweight champion on August 1st, but instead she is warding off death threats in her native brazil due to this brawl.
MMAFighting.com posted the video and had some details of the altercation:
UFC women’s bantamweight contender Bethe Correia has been receiving death threats since being involved in a street fight with an irate taxi driver. Correa’s boyfriend, Edelson Silva, who is also one of Anderson Silva’s boxing coaches, ended up fighting the driver, Cleonardo de Freitas Alves.
Women haven’t been able to last more than 16 seconds lately when 100% focused on Rousey, having distractions leading up to camp doesn’t seem like a good sign for Correia’s chances.
