The NFL is most definitely the professional league that allows other players and teams to dictate the market for high-priced players, and if Ryan Tannehill’s $90+ million contract is any indication of the young QB market, than the Seattle Seahawks are going to have to pony up to keep Russell Wilson, at least according to the Seahawks GM John Schneider. Russell Wilson is due for a new contract at the end of the 2015 season, and he should be up fro every penny if not more than what his counterpart Ryan Tannehill just received. Wilson has outperformed Tannehill and almost every metric, including leading his team to a Super Bowl championship, while Tannehill has yet to lead the Dolphins to the playoffs.
Ryan Tannehill's agent Pat Dye said SEA GM John Schneider called him and said, "Congrats, you just cost me a lot of money." #RussellWilson
