The Oakland Raiders haven’t finished above .500 since 2002. In the past two seasons, Oakland has accumulated a record of 7-25.
Veteran Charles Woodson is sick and tired of the losing, but he welcomes new head coach Jack Del Rio with open arms.
“We need it,” Woodson said. “My take is that, the last couple of years that I’ve been here, it’s been three wins and four wins. Whatever different that comes in and feels good, you welcome it. We feel good about not only him, but all of the guys that they’ve brought in. They all have that fire. It’s been fun.”
On paper, it looks like Oakland is heading in the right direction, but we all know games aren’t played on paper.
