The people in South Carolina are fed up about the confederate flag still flying high at the South Carolina statehouse. One activist, named Bree, took matters into her own hands and climbed up the pole and took the flag down herself.

Bree has since been arrested.
The people in South Carolina are FED UP. As a fellow South Carolinian born and raised in Charleston, I’m fed up too. To see images of the confederate flag, a flag that the Charleston shooter, Dylann Roof, idolized as his symbol of racism and hate, being flown in the background as one of his victims was carried by in a casket, was just despicable. Other states have ordered the removal of the confederate flag so, what is taking South Carolina so long? If they keep this flag around, I’m sure we will be seeing more acts like this from other activists in the very near future. I can’t say I blame them.
