It appears that Ty Lawson wants to ruin his own life.
TMZ is reporting that the Nuggets point guard has been arrested for another DUI.
TMZ Sports has learned Lawson was pulled over by CHP for speeding on the 101 Freeway early this morning … and officers determined he showed signs of intoxication … so they gave him a field sobriety test.
Didn’t go so good for Lawson. He was arrested around 2:30 AM.
Lawson was also arrested for DUI in January after Denver, Colorado police pulled him over after observing him going 60 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Lawson and his girlfriend “Bad Girl’s Club” alum Ashley Pettiford arrived around 11pm at the party. At that point he was in good spirits and we talked a little bit about the upcoming season. He said he was eager to put last season behind and move forward.
The one difference I noticed was that while most of the athletes and entertainers at the event had drivers or UBER, Lawson had drove himself.
Once inside the club, Lawson was just partying like everyone else, but as the TMZ report noted he wasn’t supposed to be drinking at all. He didn’t appear drunk or anything, he wasn’t acting crazy or out of line, but when you have such a small margin for error, you have to be careful and make better decisions.
The sixth-year NBA point guard has been the subject of trade rumors after Denver draft Emmanuel Mudiay in the first round.
