After opting to transfer from USC after enrolling in January, former blue chip quarterback recruit Ricky Town has decided to transfer to Arkansas to continue is collegiate career.

Since Town is opting to transfer to another Division I school, he will have to sit out the 2015 season (probably was going to do that anyway) and he will have four years of eligibility remaining. Town will be able to use 2015 as a redshirt year and get comfortable in the new system that requires a lot of handing the ball to the running back.
I think Town has the potential to be an upgrade over what Arkansas currently has under center, and it will give the Hawgs the ability the sling the ball around a little bit.
