The Dallas Cowboys seems to be in much better shape recently when it comes to the salary cap issues. They always seem to over pay players finding themselves trying to re-work contracts, move money around and paying player much more than they are worth on the back-end of their careers. As of late, the Cowboys have been focusing on not over paying anyone and locking down their core young players long turn and Tyrone Crawford looks to be next in line.
According to Ian Rapoport, of NFL.com, the Cowboys are aggressive trying to reach a contract extension with defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford.

Crawford is entering the final season of his rookie deal and is set to earn a base salary of $670,000. Crawford, 25, hasn’t bloomed yet but the coaching staff and management have high expectations for him. He started 15-games last season racking up 25 tackles and three sacks which is expected to increase tremendously this season.
