The Eagles got their third signal caller, and he’s a Florida guy as well, he’s just not Tim Tebow.
Chip Kelly and company claimed former Miami quarterback Stephen Morris off waivers from the Jaguars to replace Tebow as the teams third quarterback per ESPN.
Coach Chip Kelly said Saturday that he would add a third quarterback, and Morris is now on the 53 man roster since he was claimed off waivers.
After going undrafted, Morris spent the 2014 season on the Jaguars’ practice squad. He went to training camp with the Jags this summer, but was released on Saturday.
