Buffalo Bills backup quarterback EJ Manuel says he’s content with the franchise that made him a first round pick, despite losing out to Tyrod Taylor.
Manuel’s stint as the Bills’ No. 2 quarterback lasted less than three days.
The Bills Matt Cassel on Saturday only to bring him back on Tuesday and coach Rex Ryan immediately listed him as Tyrod Taylor’s backup.
Manuel says he’s all good in Buffalo, and won’t seek a trade.
“I’m good where I’m at right now with the Bills,” he said Tuesday, via ESPN.com’s Mike Rodak.
Asked if he’d be better off elsewhere, Manuel said he wasn’t sure.
“I’m not sure,” he said. “For right now, I’m in my current place. I’m still here with the Bills. I want to be a part of this team and I want to help us win.”
Manuel started 14 games in two seasons completing 58.6 percent of his passes for 2,810 yards, 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
