There are a few things I agree with Adrien Broner about in this interview. The first being you shouldn’t downplay any athletes or frankly person’s accomplishments, especially if you haven’t done them yourself. Even though this particular fight shouldn’t have been for a title, winning 4 titles in 4 different weight classes isn’t nothing to sneeze at.
I also agree that nothing Broner can say will change his perception. Only way to do that is in the ring, but with that being said he needs to find a happy middle ground of dealing with the media. No one will want to cover or promote his fights if he isn’t accessible.
It appears Broner understands he can’t keep losing every time he has a big fight, but he will have to prove it in the ring.
