DeMarco Murray is a good RB. He’s proven effective in Dallas, but since becoming apart of the Eagles, he doesn’t feel like he’s getting enough opportunities.
“No, I’m not,” Murray said. “I don’t think I am, but it’s just how the plays have been called.”
“I love this offense. I love playing with these guys and it’s just how it is,” Murray said. “I knew what I was coming in here to do. I knew this offense, a lot of guys touch the ball. That’s how they make a lot of plays.”
Murray rushed for only 36 yards for eight carries with two receptions for 12 yards. Murray is use to being an important part of a teams win, i.e. Dallas (he was also protected by a better line), and Chip Kelly relies on a run offense so, why isn’t Murray getting the ball more? Why did Chip Kelly sign him if he wasn’t going to use him? I’m sure that’s the question on Murray’s mind, but it also seems that he’s humble enough to understand its something he can’t control.
But one does have to wonder.
