This all sounds about right.
Derrick Rose is recovering from a broken face, after being elbowed in the first practice of the season. He is coming along well or so it seemed until he said this.
Rose: "I can’t open my other eye. That’s when I get double vision. But with one eye open, I think I could play pretty good."

I am going to assume he was joking about playing with one eye, but you never know, maybe he comes out with an eye patch.
