If Les Miles is really out at LSU, the booster who are signing off on his buyout reportedly will have to look somewhere other than Tallahassee.
According to the Palm Beach Post’s Tom D’Angelo, Fisher told school president John Thrasher that he’s happy with his current situation.
“I’m happy where I’m at,” he said. “I’m very happy here. I’ve got a great job. You don’t ever get into that. That is why I don’t ever comment on jobs. I made that statement earlier that is disrespectful to both sides of it.
“I love this place. It is a great place and it has been very good to me. Hopefully I will end up being very good to it.”
The idea that you could fire Les Miles and not have his replacement in place is mind-boggling.
