Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley was arrested Wednesday due to an outstanding warrant on an unpaid traffic ticket.
According to Reid Laymance of the Houston Chronicle, Beverley was cited for “Operating a Motor Vehicle on Toll Road When Prohibited” but had failed to pay his fine.
He was stopped Wednesday morning, arrested on the scene and taken to a police station, where he paid the fine.
He was immediately released.
Beverley missed Wednesday’s shootaround — but Calvin Watkins of ESPN reported he “should be available” for tonight’s game against the Nets.
Beverley is averaging 6.0 points and 3.8 assists this season.
