The Carolina Panthers are having the time of their lives. A group of young men who enjoy playing the game of professional football with teammates the love, so why all the negativity from media and other players? Are the Panthers having TOO MUCH fun? Wait, is that even possible?!
Apparently it is. Media and players have started saying that the Panthers are doing too much in their current win streak. Being 13-0 to some folks doesn’t call for this much celebration and are starting to believe the Panthers are rubbing it in opponents face, but could it be just a young team doing what all professional athletes should be doing? Enjoying their time making millions with great friends while winning? Who doesn’t dream about that?
For everyone who feels the Panthers aren’t being mature, Cornerback Josh Norman has a little piece of advice for you… stop them.
And he’s right. The Panthers are doing everything a team should. They are celebrating wins with each other and their fans. Consistently throughout the news the Panthers have been non-stop in their communities from owner Jerry Richardson donating $250k to a HBCU to Cam Newton delivering gifts; this team is enjoying their year. Let them. They aren’t hurting anyone other than media who is stuck in older ways or teams that are losing. It doesn’t help that most media outlets have written the Panthers off from winning meaningful games more times than once. I guess eating your words isn’t much fun, is it? So to find some negativity, lets take something enjoyable and somehow reverse it to unsportsmanlike.
Let them have it! When 95 year old women are dabbing, its cool to say these guys are brining fun to football, young and old.
