It’s been a long time coming but the Roman Empire finally begins in the WWE. After over a year of missteps and plot twist, Roman Reigns is now the WWE champion.
Reigns just so happens to have won the belt in the same city that booed him loudly for winning the Royal Rumble earlier in the year, Philadelphia.
After winning the title at last night’s WWE Raw Roman thanked the Philly fans for their standing ovation and for recognizing the improvements he’s made since the last time he stepped foot in the building.
Their response says all you need to know about the future of Reigns as champion.
