The good news is that Meek Mill wasn’t ordered back to jail, the bad news he still might be sent back to jail and he can’t leave Philly for a while.
Meek got emotional and cried in court while pleading his case to the judge.
Meek testified in Philly for more than an hour, and during the testimony HE GOT EMOTIONAL A FEW TIMES.
He also apologized to the D.A. for calling her a “bitch” in his song, “The Ride.”
But he really choked up when he addressed the judge directly, saying … “I’m not a gangsta. I’m not a criminal.” He added, “I have my queen, Nicki [Minaj] now. I’m trying to do better and feel like I can be the best rapper out there.”
Sentencing will take place in February, until then Meek will be spending the holidays at home, but that is better than jail cell. It is such a minor offense, I hope the judge doesn’t put him in jail again. I think the month and a half of not being able to travel, tour, club appearances and etc is punishment enough. He can’t even perform in Philly.
Also, maybe this will help Meek grow up and stop violating his probation.
Mill: “I hang in clubs, people from the hood, the streets, where people are not about the same things as me…I have to walk away."

Mill: "I walk around w/ Queen Nikki. Things are different now. I act different. I walk different. I can be the biggest rapper in the world."

Mill: "I’m don’t wanna be a criminal. I’m not a gangsta. But I’m not a perfect man … I have the potential to be greater than I am today.”
