It was all god just a month ago!
Ronda Rousey has been a relative hermit since she was the victim of one of the biggest upsets in combat sports history. She has rarely gone outside, let alone promote the UFC.
So, EA Sports and the UFC’s decision to capitalize off of the media train that was Ronda Rousey before UFC 193 by announcing that she would grace the cover of the ‘UFC 2’ video game could’ve easily blown up in their faces. That announcement locked her in as one of the cover athletes but the UFC seemed to have a pretty good back up plan built-in.
Aldo vs McGregor will #FightForTheCover of #EASPORTSUFC2. U can make ur prediction: https://t.co/z0TqYYqRnE pic.twitter.com/7ppQx2C4mn

Ronda is still a huge star and replacing her would be a big mistake. Having both a male and female star on the cover is a smart move and the possibility of a McGregor-Rousey cover brings $$$ to Dana White’s eyes. If Ronda doesn’t feel like promoting the game, I’m sure Conor will be up to the task. Jose Aldo on the cover won’t do much but I’m sure UFC want’s to avoid the ‘Rousey-Holm’ scenario if possible.
Hopefully the Holm head kick KO still finds its way into the opening highlight sequence.
