Arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL Calvin Johnson is considering retirement after spending all of his 9 seasons with the Detroit Lions.
Johnson has only made the NFL playoffs twice in that span, and will be evaluating all of his options before making a decision if he will return to the field in 2016-17 season.
Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowler Antonio Brown doesn’t take Johnson seriously, and hopes more for him before he leaves.
Antonio Brown doesn't believe it when told Calvin Johnson is pondering retirement. Says, "He's the GOAT."

Antonio Brown ruefully says of Calvin Johnson, "I'd like to see him win some games before he retires."

One has to agree that Johnson does deserve to be on a winning team and at least play deep into playoffs before he retires. How ironic would it be for the Lions for another all-time great to retire in his prime, anyone remember Barry Sanders?
For the state of the Lions, they need to provide a chance to win for Johnson or do the right thing by allowing him to join a team that will.
