Alright, South Park is coming to life after all. Sarah Palin’s son, Track, allegedly punched his girlfriend in the head, but it’s President Barack Obama who seems to be at fault. At least according to Sarah Palin. She spoke about how our soldiers were coming back from war hardened and wondered if they were respected anymore. CBS with more:
“They have to question if they’re respected anymore. It starts from the top,” she said. “The question, though, that comes from our own president where they have to look at him and wonder, ‘Do you know what we go through? Do you know what we’re trying to do to secure America?’
Her political buddy, Donald Trump took what she was implying a step further in only a fashion he could. Salon had the quote:
“Look, you know, everything starts at the top and he’s the president. And I think you can certainly do that. From what I understand, they just — and all you have to do is look at the Veteran’s Administration, look at the bad, the horrible care our vets get.
But I think it’s more dishonest than incompetent. You look at this is true all over the country, and I think it’s a good thing and you have to say ultimately, it’s the president’s charge, it’s the president’s responsibility.”
To point out how incredibly stupid these statements are just plays into whatever stupid game he is playing. The quotes speak for themselves.
