The Bears will not attempt to resign long-time RB Matt Forte. He hits the free agency market at the woeful age of 30, but his versatility will make him an attractive option. The way Forte could be used in New England’s passing attack could be brutal. Pairing him with Cam Newton and Jonathan Stewart could give them the extra edge they need to get back to the Super Bowl.
And Dallas. The combination of Forte and McFadden could prove to be one of the more impressive two-headed monsters in the NFL, especially behind that offensive line.
There will be jobs out there, but the question is how much is a team willing to commit to a 30-year old back?
