Melo Knows Who He Wants As Teammate; Will Knicks Listen?

CarmeloAnthony

You don’t have to know much about basketball to know that the New York Knicks are a bad team. The team currently has a 26-38 record, have already fired former coach Derek Fisher and have real no hopes of making the playoffs unless things change really fast.

One bright spot has been rookie Kristaps Potzingis, he’s been all Phil Jackson expected and more. Carmelo Anthony is doing his usual thing, averaging 21.7 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.2 assist but he has his eye on an upcoming free agent that he thinks could help the Knicks get back on track.

According to Bleacher Report, Melo had very kind words when asked about Rajon Rondo.

“I think he’d be perfect in a system like this.”

I have to agree with Melo but will the Knicks listen?

Rondo is currently leading the league in assist per game and is averaging a double-double with 11.8 points and 12 assist. He could really fit in well with Melo and Potzingis who will also benefit from having Rondo around as well. Guess only time will tell if Phil Jackson respects and listens to Melo’s opinion.
