WrestleMania details are usually kept under wraps, so whenever something leaks it’s always a talking point. Many cities have put in a bid to host future Mania’s but only was could be chosen for next year.
For those fans that like to plan their WrestleMania trips a year in advance here’s what’s being reported for 2017.
I spoke to a WWE source who is confirming WrestleMania 33 will take place at Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla., in 2017.
It is expected an official announcement by WWE could come as early as next week with full details, including the date. I’ve been told promotional materials have been made with two different dates, April 2 and April 9, as it’s being finalized with the city and stadium.
An outdoor stadium is always risky not the East Coast but Florida has amazing weather and Orlando is the perfect destination for families. It sets up perfectly for NXT and it’s perfect for the WWE’s PG audience.
