The legend of Michael Jordan continues to grow. It has been 13 years since MJ has played a professional basketball game but we continue to be fascinated by “His Airness.” On the Brown & Scoop podcast, former player Roshown McLeod shared memories of Jordan’s playing days. McLeod said:
I just remember stories of Jordan singing to guys when he was playing. His number one song was ‘Giving You The Best That I Got.’ I remember him singing that to Jerry Stackhouse one day and just putting on a show. It was like he had a concert going on in his own head.
Can you imagine? Jordan has you on his back in the low post, setting you up for the patented turnaround fadeaway and he’s singing to you! I also love the fact that he chooses the classic Anita Baker jam Giving You The Best That I Got. After every made bucket, he hits you with the chorus…only MJ.
