Money in The Bank has become one of the most exciting PPVs of the year for the WWE and it seemed cheapened 5-6 years ago by having each brand have a brief case. The Money in the Bank briefcase will become even better if the winner was able to freely challenge either champion, assuming they have 2 heavyweight titles, at any time. Imagine a Smackdown brand Kevin Owens popping up on Raw to snatch the belt from Roman Reigns after a tough match with Seth Rollins and showing off his bounty the next night on Smackdown.
That’s great television.
5. Keeping the Title on Roman Reigns Past Summer Slam
Roman Reigns has had a fair amount of time to prove himself as ‘The Guy’ and during his time a top the company ratings have dipped and the main event match has been booed. It’s time for Vince to give up on his pet project and not hide his lack-luster title run in the brand split. Having two titles should make the belt changing hands more fluid and give athletes such as Bray Wyatt, Kevin Owens, Cesaro and A.J. Styles a turn at holding the belt.
That’s the only way the company can find out who’s the true superstars and if this ‘New Era’ will eclipse the Attitude Era.
