Amelia Tat, 26, of Lynchburg was arrested on two felony counts of carnal knowledge of a minor and one felony count of taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship.
The arrest was based on an ACPD investigation into alleged sexual activity between Tat and a student that took place in 2015 while Tat was a science teacher at Jack Jouett Middle School.
She is still in jail at the moment.
