Days after his controversial anti-police IG post, Browns running back Isaiah Crowell has pledged his first game check of 2016 to a police-related charity.
In the video, Crowell apologizes again for the post, seen as insensitive in the wake of the Dallas police attack. The Instagram post depicted a cop having his throat slashed by a masked assailant. Although the post was deleted and replaced with an apology, many did not feel the apology was sufficient. One law enforcement organization even threatened to pull police protection from Browns home games this season.
Crowell has committed to donating his first game check to the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation. The donation will amount to around $37,500.
