There’s a new sheriff Chicago, but the question is does the team leader role go to Jimmy Butler, or will Dwyane Wade or Rajon Rondo take the reign from Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah?
After Chicago shipped Derrick Rose to the Knicks — they countered by nabbing Rondo on a two-year, $28 million deal.
They topped that off by agreeing to a two-year deal with Dwyane Wade.
“Obviously, it’s Jimmy’s team,” Rondo said at his introductory press conference on Thursday. “Jimmy, Wade and then whatever after that.”
It’s Butler’s team because he was drafted by the Bulls and grinded to become an All-Star, but best believe Wade and Rondo are going to put their imprint on the team.
